The Essence System is on the fast track to becoming one of the nation's premier pageant systems due to our integrity, dedication to our contestants, and innovative thinking.  In the TEEN, Miss, Ms., Mrs. and Classic Mrs. Essence pageants, YOU, the delegate comes first and that's the viewpoint the staff of Drakeford Productions takes with every decision that is made for the Essence System.  With the phenomenal growth of interest among women from across the US, Drakeford Productions is addidng more state pageants every year! Potential contestants will see state preliminaries in Florida, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia, Missouri and Illinois. Next year, more state pageants will come into existence, and more the year after, until there  is a state pageant in all 50 states.

It is already evident through the National Pageant that the Essence System is different from all other pageants; from our contemporary music, to our fun-filled parties, to our monthly conferences calls  open to every delegate.  When our state pageants begin to grow, even more women will be exposed to the unique and valuable experience of the Essence Pageant System. For example, the Florida Essence pageant had 3 Pageant Prep seminars leading up to their state pageant focused on helping the delegates improve in their areas of concern. These seminars gave delegates, potential delegates, and parents the opportunity to learn about skincare, makeup application, the technical aspects of walking and stage presentation, mock interviews, and more!
