Alana Starke
My name is Alana-Milan' Starke. I am 14 years old. I attend Coral Gables Sr. High School in Coral Gables, Florida where I am a 9th grade International Baccalaureate student. My favorite pastime is creative writing. I write short stories, screenplays for short films and I am now working on my second novel and hope to be published soon. My other hobbies include reading, acting, and modeling, playing soccer, traveling and enjoying friends and family.
In addition to the things I do in my free time, I also enjoy giving back to my community. my church and sever organizations that i am a member of, provide me with numerous volunteer opportunities. Some of my activities include: walks and charity fashion shows in support of Breast Cancer Awareness, cooking for and feeding the homeless, working with Hands on Miami on Community Renovation Projects, providing care packages for the elderly, volunteering for Special Olympics, and youth tutoring.
I am a very ambitious, self-confident person with strong morals and values. I strive to be the best me that I can be. The Biblical principals that guide me daily are, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" and "To whom much is given, much is required."
